Missed one

In your list of distros that Asianux will be competing against, you missed the very popular LinuxTLE, from Thailand.

I have used HaanSoft's Linux, which I found to be well done, though rather out of date, and also Red Flag. Both appeared to be based on FC, so that would explain why Asianux also looks similar to RH's offering.

Entry of textually complicated languages is something that the European and American distros typically fall down on, requiring a lot of manual configuring. For example, Evolution in most distros doesn't support reading mail in Thai encoding! These local distros are great for getting all the little details like this sewn up for their markets.
