I'd like to offer the obligatory post about how you forgot one.
Kiax is nice but, <a href="http://iaxclient.sourceforge.net/iaxcomm/" title="sourceforge.net">iaxComm</a sourceforge.net> is a better IAX client in that it is available for all platforms. You knock Xlite for being Windows only but fail to note that applications like Kiax are Linux or, more accurately, KDE only. Yes, I know the article is titled Linux Softphones but, you dragged Xlite into it and it's only fair to point out that the others are Linux/KDE only.
<a href="http://iaxclient.sourceforge.net/iaxcomm/" title="sourceforge.net">iaxComm</a sourceforge.net> is open source and is available for Linux, Mac OSX and Windows. It works well and has the expected features. Not surprisingly IAXComm is IAX only so it only works with Asterisk.
I am no associated with iaxComm or Asterisk in any way.
