GnomeMeeting "stable" supports H.323 which is the oldest VoIP protocol available. You mention a softphone supporting IAX, which is not a standard, but you do not mention a softphone supporting H.323 that all major players are still using (Cisco, Avaya, Alcatel, to name a few) in their IPBX systems.
