And mildly defective; If you run the auto-update, it very quickly breaks the ability of the CD installer to function. Dependancy errors make it useless, and can even break other general RPM installs and anything that ends up refering to the CD repositories for dependancies.

I'm kinda considering Redhat Enterprise Linux for my next distro, but not without research, because if EL has these sorts of issues, it's not worth a dime. I'm also considering Linspire, though not just for CNR.

(I'm looking at commercial distros cause I want brain-dead simple, out of the box support for several proprietary technologies. Mostly codec related. On a related note, does anyone know of an MPlayer based browser plugin?)
