<a href="http://xvidcap.sourceforge.net/" title="sourceforge.net">xvidcap</a sourceforge.net> can also be used to capture desktop videos. It supports fullscreen or specific zone captures and the videos may have sound if you want. It's surprising that some days ago I was looking for this type of applications and I only found xvidcap. Now I know 2 more and the one I had found is not mentioned<nobr> <wbr></nobr>:D. You can, of course, find video tutorials about using xvidcap in its home page, but usage is very simple.
