hate to say this, but I agree with parent. I use ssh from sometimes as many as 10 machines in one day, and even though I have keys setup for a few of them, when I grab a random machine on campus, I don't have my keys, and without pw auth, I wouldn't be able to get in. Now my passwords are pretty secure (10+ chars random caps/numbers/symbols) so, I'm not too worried about getting brute forced.
