I'm surpised that you've experienced a lot a crashes with Mythtv 0.18.1. For me, I have had the opposite experience. I rarely experiences crashes. If I experience crash, it's usually after several weeks of operation. Thus far, 0.18.1 has been the most stable release for me. I haven't gone to 0.19 yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Hardware: ASUS Pundit, P4 2.26-Ghz, 1G-RAM, Hauppauge PVR 350.
