This guide is easy to follow and had me have a mythtv system up and running within an hour! The current 0.19 version I'm running is off this install and the great thing about it is if you want a nice home server, router, DHCP, Asterisk, etc... a full blown OS install will help. Might as well use that box thats on 24/7 for something!
