Worse yet, you may be tunneling your SSH through an HTTP proxy!<nobr> <wbr></nobr>:-(
I tried to build from the source tarballs and use the supplied config files to bridge two FC5 boxes over SSH, and got nothing. (No indication of an attempted connection getting through to the server.)
Do you have more specific pointers on how to configure SSH 4 to set up a tun interface? I'm assuming you aren't just talking about simple port forwarding, but of creating more of a VPN like network bridge.
