This is what I use to figure out my IP address: I open a web browser and go to <a href="http://checkip.dyndns.org/" title="dyndns.org">http://checkip.dyndns.org/</a dyndns.org>
It is kinda hard to get a user to type in this URL when you tell it to them over the phone. I try to bookmark it for them ahead of time to make it easier.
