Greetings all,
I followed these instructions to the letter, and managed to get an access point (soekris net4526 with a Wistron CM9 Atheros chipset mini-pci wireless card) up and running on Pyramid Linux 1.0b4. I then connected to it with my Dell Laptop with an Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG running XP Professional. After transferring more than about 10MB of data, I consistently get a kernel panic. Has anyone out there been able to run an Atheros based access point in bridge mode using the madwifi-ng driver?
