You could have the CAPTCHA only for anonymous posts, but not be needed by people who have registred accounts on the website.
There is also a thing to put in links that get posted in comments (and forums) that makes some search engine ignore the link and not count the link as a reference to the site so it wont get a higher site rank. If I remember correctly, it is something like: <a href="http://www.example.com/" rel="nofollow">
