There is a FOSS project called Sahana (Sahana disaster management system) on SourceForge, it was the "Project of the Month" in June. * http://sourceforge.net/potm/potm-2006-06.php * http://sourceforge.net/projects/sahana "Crisis, for example natural disasters, management software; including refugee camp management, supply/demand match making, lost persons, etc."
What a shame that FEMA cant follow webstandards and work in any browser. It is goverment site and is critical in disaster situations and yet they it only works with proprietary software. What a shame!
