If you do prefer something more actively developed, <a href="http://www.network-weathermap.com/" title="network-weathermap.com">PHP Network Weathermap</a network-weathermap.com> is similar. It has integration with <a href="http://www.cacti.net/" title="cacti.net">Cacti</a cacti.net> as an optional extra, which is nice if you already use that tool.
