Kudos to GRUB and Lilo for having serial access. And linux for having it once booted.
Now, if I could only get to the BIOS before GRUB/Lilo starts. Sun does it (newer systems let you toggle the power too!). SOme server PCs do it, but everyone is different.
Comeon. Most computers could do this in the 80's. Why can't current PCs do it?
