True. Some good points. Lack of those applications is a pain if you need Flash or some other ISV-developed program.. but I have yet to have any trouble finding normal linux open-source stuff I need for daily productivity that has not been compiled for x86_64. At the same time, keep in mind that there aren't many programs from ISVs because of people with this mindset. If you don't switch, there is no need for ISVs to waste money supporting those platforms... Be part of the problem, or be the solution.
