Other distributions (such as suse) you can just install all the 32bit versions of the apps you mention right on the 64bit distribution. 32bit Flashplayer works in 64bit konqueror. 32bit firefox is installed by default so works with the 32bit flash plugin. On debian based systems there is no multilib so it's another story with chroots and other such fun.
