A little off topic maybe but this sentance caught my eye.
Support for DVD's in windows does not work out of the box, first you need graphics card drivers and then you need a suitable dvd codec or dvd player installed.
Personally I find the single library (libdvdcss) approach of Linux a lot easier to deal with.
