Uhm.. you forgot ZFS. It's only the most impressive filesystem EVER. And one excellent reason for me to replace several TB+ scale linux fileservers with solaris. raidz, built-in volume management, sparse volumes, end-to-end data integrity.. the list goes on. It would be just about perfect if only they supported 3ware controllers..
