You can relink the file with debugfs (on ext2 and ext3). See <a href="http://web.glandium.org/blog/?p=87" title="glandium.org">http://web.glandium.org/blog/?p=87</a glandium.org> (and don't forget to read comments for an even better solution to find the inode number)
