Because I get free support for any problem as long as I want to. And because - what was really missing in the review - I get real Word and Excel compatible apps. Btw: the usability and the speed are also better than in OOo. The review only mentioned some disadvantages of Planmaker compared to OOo Calc but the by far biggest advantage can you see here:

Frankly speaking, I wouldn't call OOo Calc an Excel compatible spreadsheet.
