You're right; he's looking for pointy-and-clicky GUI tools to do administration on it, kinda like an MCSE could handle. OpenLDAP works really well, and I've been using it for a couple of years (thanks due to David Trask for his HOWTO!).

That said, I'm glad to see Fedora Directory Server out there as well. Having more than one F/OSS, and solid, implementation of an LDAP directory is a good thing..
