Seriously, is there a problem with running DeLi Linux on newer equipment? I personally don't feel the need to run mega distributions like SuSE, Mandriva, or Ubuntu just because I can.
My computer is less than a year old with a 1.4 GHz processor and, now, 756mb of RAM. I could run a larger distribution, but I prefer lighter. I currently run Zenwalk, but I am intrigued by DeLi because it is the only distribution I am aware of that uses IceWM as the main window manager (i.e., anything else has to be downloaded or installed from an extras CD) rather than being an extra (meaning you may still be stuck with pieces of the desktop environment or window manager you don't want).
Is there are reason I couldn't run DeLi Linux if I wanted to on this machine? Or is there another distribution out there that uses IceWM as the primary or only window manager (requiring others to be downloaded)? Thanks
What's wrong with light on newer hardware?
