Truecrypt is based on E4M whos authors created commercial DriveCrypt. Both TrueCrypt, DriveCrypt (and E4M) are very resistant to unexpected reboots (or pressing reset button). The containers are not damaged and only a few unwritten data may be lost which is ok for journalled file systems. On the other hand two times I tried BestCrypt and pressed reset during copying file to an encrypted disk, after reboot the container was damaged. IMHO BestCrypt sucks and it is very dangerous to store any valuable data in its containers.
