I rather want an unified way of doing it, than each project have some hacked-up shell scripts, that wont even uninstall. And have the software scattered all around the system. Just because something works, doesn't mean its good.
I want to be able to install/uninstall applications from the console and via a GUI.
I want to be able to uninstall all my software from an centralized tool.
