And a wannabe solution at that. I tried it one time. Never again. It takes longer to tell autopackage what you're trying to do that it takes to configure, make & checkinstall.
Not to mention that installing autopackage itself was a headache. When someone wants to convince me about ease of use, they should start with their own product.

Slackware has the right idea. Keep it simple.
