The SCALE folks may want to consider moving to larger facilities next year.
SCaLE has been held at four different venues that I know of. Once in Simi Valley, once at the Davidson Conference Center at USC and at the LA Convention Center (not including the Westin).
The Convention Center was awful. It was too large of a space. So I hope they pick something in between.
