I can assure you that Ubuntu Feisty supports this machine perfectly - ethernet, sound, video (and the ubuntu restricted drivers panel also worked with the integrated graphics)
I was a bit...dissapointed!
But truly, this is a great machine, amazing price, and from what I've seen almost perfect hardware support...
