If it was called "Beginner SSH security tips and tricks," then I don't think the grandparent post would be so "hostile" as you say. However, it was called "Advanced SSH security tips and tricks." What most every poster so far has been under the impression is that this being Linux.com, a publisher of usually not so crappy articles, posting "Advanced SSH security tips and tricks" would produce some sort of useful - new information. While I don't think the grandparent post's wording was as nice as it could have been, I certainly agree. If you lie to the FOSS community in any way, in this case by mislabeling the article, you will face retaliation in some form. Hope that clears things up.
