Quit the whining about lack of new features<nobr> <wbr></nobr>:)
This release contains many bug and performance improvements which are pivotal to gnome/linux's success. More features doesn't keep gnome from crashing (and it does sometimes).
I think that if you do not whine about something then it does not get fixed. I have been using gnome as my main desktop since 1.2 Bongo Gnome. But lately I have been looking at KDE with more thought than I would like, but if it does the job better then I guess it is the way to go.
If gnome can not keep up then users are going to switch.
