Seriously? "Patch cable" and "network cable" not good enough anymore, apparently. In order to reach the distinguished Linux nerd virgin audience, I suppose, you have to be willing to use precise language nobody's ever used before.
Try "Cat-5 cable" next time. Bizarrely, more people will actually know what you mean.
