I think people are wrong about thinking that the PC is not going to be really helpful. The main use of OLPC and maybe Classmate will be in those villages that have the facility (honour?) of hosting a school, but the school is understaffed. The children can use the PC to learn new things and it will serve as an assistant to the teacher(if the school has one<nobr> <wbr></nobr>:^( ). The whole idea I think is to use it as a substitute for a real teacher. There are schools where a teacher handles 4 or five forms singlehandedly, and then the children have to go even further to attend higher education. This is also the reason that the OLPC interface is activity oriented and not task oriented. Thanks for the attention.
