OpenOffice.org charts undergo cosmetic surgery

Let's hope they redo the entire interface over time...

I had the unfortunate need to browse through the program's Options window, and it was horrifying! There was a button for literally everything, and then more! Actually finding what I wanted was next to impossible, but finding how many things should be but are not using desktop-wide settings was quite easy.
Why does a /word processor/ need to be so complicated? Is it really this hard to just hide a few options for the sake of simplicity?
I do not see how stuff like graphics cache or memory use should be exposed to the user, and giving someone the option to mess with that stuff probably creates more bad than good as people play with the option (one of the easier to find ones, by the way) away from its comfortable (intelligently chosen?) defaults.

These guys have a lot of resources and this program has a lot of potential, so I really hope they adopt more sense in this interface before it all goes crazy.
