i think graham is quite correct.
adsl in europe is the most famous.
we got cable here as well but the service is not as good.
however i looked into the ubuntuforums but that was not very helpful.
i need to know the commands and syntax.
i tried ifconfig...which seems not to be a valid command. does it need to be followed by something?
is there any way i could get these commands from the konsoll? like we used to do in DOS like "?" or "h"
what should i type to get connected?
what files do i need to edit to enter my settings?
