As a beginer I like programes that allow a window showing what command line instruction the GUI is using. It creates curiosity, passiv learning, and motivation to input simple commands or make macros. I realize that an instruction is often placed within a context wraper for a particular venue however, starting somewere demonstrates, as is often the case with open software, that a command learned anywear can often be applied everywere, making ones education cumulative rather than repetitive applications of planned obsolessence.
