There are charactures as security code that are supposedly only readable and then typed in by humans, used to keep web bots from automaticaly accessing or using web sites (information emancipation). A project was anounced that substituted the code imagery with excerpts from books with expired copywrite in an attempt to transcribe and digitize the text. A news article announced software used by police to allow a camera to read license plates. Why not apply a sample of transcribed text to the camera reader in a seti type project to tanslate books more efficiently. Audio records could also be made to help the physically impared as well perfered speach tones could be sold as book readers. A library of audio could be used in an attempt at universal speach recognition as well characture to text and image to voice programs. The project could incorperate a laguage translation program applying text to text and text to audio interpretations. A typing program could be applied using pages of books as typing exercises to aid the project.- I wonder if techniques addressing autizm could be successfully applied to writers block.- I think I'll go out to the back and play some pinball and put a borito in the microwave then put my tv out on the terace and catch up on the lattest exploits of Mr. Capell, how hard is that. I was going to mount my tv on the wall using one of those motel mounts that swing out.. I had some rusted lugnuts from an old '57 car laying around somewere I should look for them in by golf bag.
