Software abolition campaign will launch next month

I thought this was a joke. The title should probably read Software patents abolition... Anyway, this is undoubtedly very good news for US. In Europe we still do not have formally adopted software patents, and the more noise is done around their nefarious effects in US the better in EU. As one of the free software guys meeting parlamentarians (trying to educate them) in Brussels, I can only hope the campaign described in this paper will be resounding and successful.
Thanks to everybody willing to change patent law in the US for the better !
