Thank you for a wonderfully helpful write up.
I'd been looking for a new outliner, and have just begun to explore linux.
TreeLine installed easily on my Windows XP tablet, but I had been stuck installing it on Ubuntu.
I still wish it appeared on my Applications menu, but at least now I can run it on my linux desktop.
Your concise explanations of data types and fields enabled me to begin to unlock the power of this "Mega-outliner."
Now, if I could just figure out how to get TreeLine installed on my Nokia N800 "Internet tablet" I would be really set to gather and use some helpful information.
