I am all for Ogg format, but the problem home users face is that not that many portable devices out there support Ogg. Most will definitely support mp3 and wma.
I am not expert and certainly don't keep track with all devices available out there, but from my last research a year or two ago before I bought a Creative ZEN Vision:M, very few if any support Ogg.
