I recently intercepted an unencrypted transmision- someone at puplic broadcasting was interested in a grassroots effort, to have people contact there representatives to make sure broadcasting remain open to people using television and radio recievers. In light of transmision going digital, there was concern that puplic broadcast and previously for free reception of commercial broadcast would be able to continue to be recieved with out charge. It was noted that the only non subscription source of BBC radio was via short wave radio.(perhaps out side of the country of orgin?) I thought this could be an opportunity for a cammel to get there nose in the tent by making an open source software digital reciever using minimal antena hardware.
