You may need to use gksudo, but now you need to enter the command and not just double click.
gksudo [command]
but if you systems grants the permission for some minutes, during those minutes you may be able to double click.
Anyway, almost (I say almost because I an not Linux expert) any graphical task can be performed from the command line
