I installed 0.5.1 from Debian Lenny and got 'command not found' when I tried to run 'kommando' in a terminal. Turns out there's no binary named kommando. However if you use KDE's 'Run Command' launcher, kommando is recognized as a keyword listed in some .desktop file someplace and the config panel loads.
use Alt+F2, not command line
