I was lucky to purchase it at less than half of the regular price and I am more than happy with it. Regarding the sound quality I have to say I am quite satisfied with it. It would also be fair to mention that the device has an audio output that can be used to connect it to your stereo system (or speakers) for even better sound quality. The author of the article also mentioned the box reseting itself every time I unplugged it, losing whatever stream was playing. I found out that disconnecting the the power cable from the end connected to the box does not cause that problem. My only issue sofar is that I can't still find a way to turn off the device completely if I am not using it, there is a standby mode available, but the batteries will be unloaded after a a few hours under that mode
