I give this article 2 thumbs up !! I've been wondering how to rid that toolbar for a while. Placing an icon in the navigation toolbar just makes sense. I'd also recommend firefox menu editor: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/710 rid your menus from the uneeded items you don't use.
Bug in the 'Compact Menu' cannot right-click in the bokmarks menu no more.
