why not use fission and do away with the status bar entirely ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1951 )
also useful is classic compact ( https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3699 )
Does anybody have a FF3 compatible extention that can give me an icon for the bookmark menu?
