We spent big bucks on a Kyocera Mita copier with network print and scan capabilities only to find out that (a) the scanner uses a proprietary protocol which requires software running on an NT or Windows 2K server as a scanner manager and (b) the PCL/PostScript emulation is flakey and on complex jobs the unit locks up or reboots.
We received NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER from Kyocera Mita -- they couldn't care less.
Things may be better now but we'll never buy another Kyocera Mita unit.
