To clone a new ball, "yellow-click" (right-click on systems with 3 buttons) on the object. This brings up a "halo menu". In the "halo menu", click on the top-right icon.
To make the ball disappear, open the viever, and on top, write "hide", the hit "search". This will reveal the "Ball hide" command. Adding this command somewhere in your script will make the ball hide. "Ball show" will do the opposite.
