WOW this is like OpenVPN.....about 5 years ago! Considering OpenVPN has better OS support, easier configuration (using similar underlying components) and better server and client (linux, windows, and _Mac_) support (ie actual GUIs, one-step installation etc.). As far as why it is better than IPSEC... see above (as this would take days to complete with IPSEC while it would be completely done in hours with OpenVPN)
