What I'd like to know is which of the group is smaller (Exim, portfix, qmail, ssmtp, etc.) so I can use them on embedded systems which need to send out mail to a user. Also, how well does it work with secure ports on services like Google mail?
Embedded systems need lightweight and small, they're not sending tons of mail and only to a very limited group of users.
