I have gone to a few Oracle seminars aimed at the City University of New York and the presenters where very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Linux. This was about 5 years ago when Oracle started their Unbreakable Linux campaign. The final ending of Meet Monica Kumar video was a complete shock to me. To see someone so dense about Linux in a Linux title is only a nightmare coming from the hills of Redmond, Washington. The scary part of the interview was when she called Windows stable and started to point out that they have the only office suite in the world. The painful part was that it sounded sincere as if she been brainwashed. So what does this say about Oracle employees? In my opinion, Oracle has not changed in any dramatic way and they will never changed. If they are going to be an open source company then they have a lot to teach there Linux Marketing Director. What a shame she is to herself and the company for having that Title. It seems that she was demoted and forced to take the position as her knowledge of Linux is nonexistent. Maybe it's a punishment put upon her so that she gets the hint to quit! When will she get the hint? Quit being the Linux and open source Marketing Director you SUCK!!!
